Events Update -- January 11, 2016

The next civic hacking event for NE Wisconsin is on January 12, 2016. The event will start at 7 PM and probably go until about 9 PM. Location is Appleton Coworking. No registration is needed and participation in the event is free -- everyone interested in or curious about civic hacking is welcome and encouraged to show up!

The DHMN hopes to help organize civic hacking activities in NE Wisconsin cities other than Appleton. If you're interested in hosting an event in your area, please contact Bob Waldron at bwaldron (at) gmail [dott] com.

DHMN Civic Hackathon/Appleton 2015 was held on June 6, 2015. The city of Appleton and several other local sponsors helped organize the event and covered the costs for the venue, food and t-shirts. Contact Karen Harkness, city of Appleton, if you want Appleton involved with more civic hacking events.

LOCATION: The DHMN Civic Hackathon/Appleton 2015 will be held in the Esch Hurvis Room of the Warch Campus Center at Lawrence University, 711 E. Boldt Way, Appleton, WI, 54911.

AGENDA:  The Esch Hurvis Room will be open at 8:30 AM on June 6 for people to sign in. The hackathon kickoff will be at 9:00 AM. See the blog post "DHMN Civic Hackathon/Appleton 2015: Agenda" for more details of what will happen at the event.
